The Grotti Veleno GT is there on early access, complete with its Attack livery, and eligible members can take it without paying the GTA$3,090,000 store price. That changes the mood around it. If you usually buy GTA 5 Money before a major update, claiming the car first leaves far more cash for the upgrades that actually make it feel special.

Don't call it the game's fastest car just yet. The stock file figure of 114.46 mph is interesting, but it doesn't settle anything in real driving. HSW changes the whole picture, and proper races rarely come down to a long empty straight anyway. You'll notice the Veleno GT's real trick when braking late into a corner, then trying to feed the power back in without lighting up the rear tyres. It's rear-wheel drive, so it can bite. That's part of the appeal.

Spend the budget where it counts

A lot of players will throw on wheels, wings and paint before taking the car out properly. Fair enough, it's a Grotti. Still, the sensible build starts with the stuff you can feel from the driver's seat.

• Claim the early-access version before August 12 if you're eligible
• Fit the HSW conversion first on editions that support it
• Upgrade engine, transmission, turbo and brakes before cosmetic parts
• Use the missile lock-on jammer for public sessions, but don't mistake it for armour

The HSW discount running through August 12 makes the conversion easier to justify, especially while HSW Time Trials are paying boosted rewards. Without HSW access, though, don't buy into somebody else's hype. The standard Veleno GT still needs to stand on its own. It feels planted for a supercar with this much punch, but rough roads and lazy throttle control can still turn a quick run into a messy one.

For racers, this looks like a car worth learning rather than a car that wins by itself. It should suit quick circuits and drivers who can manage exits cleanly. Collectors have an even simpler call: the launch livery, sharp silhouette and Kortz Center Heist connection give it proper garage value. Anyone paying full price on July 23 should pause and add up the real cost, because GTA$3,090,000 is only the entry fee. If funds are tight, picking up cheap GTA 5 Money can help cover the build, but waiting for reliable lap tests is still the smarter move than buying it on day one and leaving it half-finished.
