Make Sure You've Got the Right Versions

Supercharged status is tied to one exact card, not the player name on the back of it. That catches people out every time. Your Live Series Jacob deGrom may be boosted while a special release sits untouched, or it could work the other way around. Same deal with Pete Crow-Armstrong. Open the card, look at the active attributes, then build from there. Don't assume the highest-rated version gets the temporary lift. Collection progress stays separate too, so there's no point forcing a card into a squad just because it looks similar.

Check each card screen before setting your lineup, because identical players can have completely separate active versions.
Place deGrom in a rotation spot you'll actually use, rather than saving him for a perfect matchup.
Use PCA as an everyday outfielder, especially if you need stolen bases, runs, or extra defensive range.

Choose Games That Keep Both Cards Busy

For offline grinding, Mini Seasons and Conquest still make the most sense. You get repeatable innings, controllable matchups, and plenty of chances for Parallel XP without waiting on another player's connection. Start deGrom whenever possible, then leave PCA near the top of the order so he gets four or five trips to the plate. He's more useful when he's constantly involved. A walk can turn into a steal, a run, and a little extra progress. That stuff adds up quicker than people expect when you're playing several games in one sitting.

Mini Seasons works well when you want steady innings, repeatable starts, and fewer surprises from random squad restrictions.
Conquest is better for players finishing territory goals while feeding innings and plate appearances to boosted cards.
Keep PCA high in the order so his speed creates value even during games where his bat stays quiet.

Reality check: One strong card won't fix a weak lineup, so don't abandon easy program objectives just to chase attributes.

Use the Event Without Losing Sight of the Bigger Grind

The Rising Stars Event is worth a look if you still need Pipeline No-Sell Choice Packs or Event Program progress. Just read the squad rules before you lock anything in. Eligibility can be tight: Pipeline Series, Spring Breakout cards, players aged 25 or under, plus Live Series Bronze and Common options. deGrom might not fit every build, while PCA can be easier to work around depending on the card version. That's fine. Don't force a bad roster. Use the Event when it advances several goals at once, then go back to Conquest or Mini Seasons when it doesn't.

Pair Pipeline Program cards with boosted players whenever possible, turning ordinary innings into progress across several reward tracks.
Finish short Moments first, since they're easy wins and stop unfinished objectives cluttering your menu screen later.
Claim rewards between sessions, then adjust your squad before starting another run with outdated program requirements.
