Keep Ber for Infinity, and convert it into Jah only when Jah completes your chosen recipe: in Diablo 4 Season 15, that conversion consumes two Ber and one Grand Sapphire. Enigma still needs another Ber alongside Jah and Ith, so converting your last two Ber leaves its recipe unfinished. Treat any budget associated with D4 Gold as a separate planning decision from allocating your crafting materials.

What does turning Ber into Jah cost

The Horadric Cube converts two Lo and one Grand Topaz into Ber, then two Ber and one Grand Sapphire into Jah. These are specific material exchanges, not interchangeable payments: having the gem without the required runes does not complete either recipe.

Calculated from those recipes, making one Jah entirely from Lo requires four Lo, two Grand Topaz, and one Grand Sapphire. That calculation describes the conversion cost only; it does not establish a market price or predict how long gathering the materials will take.

The practical question is what the conversion lets you finish. A Jah that completes an equipment recipe has an immediate purpose. A Jah made without reserving the remaining ingredients can leave you holding a different unfinished project.

Enigma needs both runes; Infinity needs two Ber

Enigma requires Jah, Ith, Ber, and a Common chest armor base. Infinity requires two Ber, Mal, Ist, and a compatible Common weapon base. The correct choice therefore starts with the item you intend to craft, not with which rune appears higher in the conversion chain.

For Enigma, reserve one Ber before making Jah. Starting with no Jah, the conversion route requires three Ber in total: two become Jah, while the third remains available for the chest recipe. You also need Ith, the Grand Sapphire used in the conversion, and the chest base. This total follows directly from combining the two recipes.

For Infinity, two Ber already satisfy its Ber requirement. Converting that pair into Jah removes those ingredients from your planned weapon craft. Keep them intact when Infinity is the selected upgrade, then gather Mal, Ist, and the compatible base.

Check the base before committing your runes. The Enigma recipe uses Common chest armor, and Infinity has specific weapon variants; a weapon being available in your inventory does not establish that it matches the recipe you want.

Combat use can change your priority

Ber and Jah also have different effects as Runes of Invocation, which provide combat effects after receiving Offering. Ber requires 200 Offering and gives your next five skills a Lucky Hit chance of up to 10% to deliver a Crushing Blow. Jah requires 350 Offering and replaces your next Evade with the Sorcerer's Teleport Skill. These effects give you another reason to choose deliberately before consuming either rune in crafting.

Ber's Lucky Hit wording does not promise one Crushing Blow every ten casts. Jah's effect changes the next Evade after its requirement is met; reaching the Offering requirement is not itself an immediate teleport. Evaluate the effect your setup needs alongside the equipment recipe you are saving toward.

Choose the finished item first, then reserve its complete ingredient set before opening the Cube. Keep any spending consideration involving cheap Diablo IV Gold within a fixed budget, and make the rune decision from your inventory: preserve the pair for Infinity, or confirm that making Jah still leaves Enigma's remaining ingredients ready.
