If you’re the kind of Zombies player who can’t leave a map until every file’s been picked clean, Astra Malorum will test your patience in the best way. I usually plan a “real” run after I’ve warmed up in a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby, because this intel hunt is full of tiny interactions you’ll miss if you’re panicking. There are 11 pieces total—audio logs, documents, and a few artifacts—and the map loves hiding the important stuff in places you only check once.
Start in The Luminarium
Spawn in and push straight toward The Luminarium. Don’t just stare at the ceiling props—use them. The document “Look Out Below/Immense Power” is tied to the hanging planet models. Shoot them in order from the sun outward: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. When you tag Neptune, Pluto pops and drops the intel. Before you leave, swing to the shelf beside the nearby trap and snag the “Please take your seat/Fools” audio log. People sprint past it all the time, then swear it bugged out.
Pack Room and Archive Tricks
Next stop is the Observatory Dome—yeah, the Pack-a-Punch room. There’s a crate in there with the “Organ Donor/Planets” audio log. From there, head into Machina Astralis and find the Archive of Orbis. On the upper level you can grab “Extraorbital/Robotics.” Then comes the one that annoys everyone: in the Archive room with Stamina-Up, look for a desk covered in messy papers. Don’t interact—shoot the pile. The papers blow off and reveal the “Archive Stacks/Eventful” document underneath. It feels wrong the first time, but that’s the trick.
Veilwalk and the Cliffside Grab
For “Unsafe Arbor/Dual Function,” head to The Veilwalk and check the gazebo near Mule Kick. After that, make for the Abysmal Rim. The “Poser Planet/Their Town” document sits right on the cliff edge near Who’s Who, like it’s daring you to misstep. Crouch, line up your angle, and grab it clean—no hero moves. Losing a run to gravity here is a rite of passage you don’t need.
Artifacts You’ll Earn While Pushing Quest
The remaining intel is mostly stuff you’ll collect while progressing, so don’t overthink it. “Damaged Drone” drops when you destroy one of the drones tailing Oscar during his attack phase. “LGM-1” is tied to the Wonder Weapon—build it and the intel comes with it. Keep moving through the Main Quest and you’ll also pick up the “Perfusion Machine” across Machina Astralis and the Luminarium, with the “Ascendant Eye” showing up during the Mars trip step; if you’re trying to keep the run smooth, practise the route a few times and treat it like muscle memory, the same way folks do when they’re grinding a BO7 Bot Lobby for consistency.
