"A Symbol of Unification" hits different from Celeste's usual errands. It's not just "go here, grab that." She's talking about old raider customs, the kind of simple stuff that meant something when everything else was falling apart. Before you drop in, it's worth sorting your kit and ARC Raiders Items so you're not fumbling in your inventory mid-run, because this mission's real enemy is getting caught out while you're distracted.

Getting to Formicai Outpost

You'll need to deploy into the Dam Battlegrounds and make for the Formicai Outpost, down toward the southern side of the map near Formicai Hills. It sits up on a rise overlooking Red Lake, and yeah, you can usually spot it once you zoom in. The climb is the sketchy part. This is an extraction zone, so expect ARC patrols and the occasional player who's happy to turn your quest run into their highlight reel. Don't sprint the whole way up the incline, either. People love to post up and watch that approach, and you'll feel it fast if you're moving loud.

Finding the Flag Without Wasting Time

Inside, you're not hunting a boss or clearing waves. You're basically doing a quick snatch-and-go. Push through the main doorway and check the medical area near the entrance—beds, desks, that sort of layout. You're looking for a bag with the Raider flag. Grab it and pause for half a second to confirm the objective updates. Sounds obvious, but plenty of players loot on autopilot, get spooked by footsteps, and bail before the game actually registers the pickup.

Hoisting It and Getting Out Clean

With the flag secured, move deeper until you pass the main circular room. There's a balcony with a pole facing the lake. That's your moment: hold interact, raise the flag, and the quest should complete right there. Try not to hang around admiring the view unless the area's quiet. The balcony is exposed, and if someone's tailing you, they'll take the shot when you're locked into the animation.

Rewards and Loadout Advice

Back in Speranza, Celeste pays you with the Aviator Outfit in that Dusted Cream colour, plus three Mod Components and five rolls of Duct Tape—stuff you'll actually burn through later. A lot of folks run this on a free loadout for a reason: you're here to tag an objective, not flex your best gear. If the mission doesn't show up right after "Unexpected Initiative," don't stress it; sometimes it's buried behind a bunch of her other tasks. Keep clearing her log, stock up for the next drop, and think about how you'll protect your ARC Raiders Weapon choices when the hill gets camped again.
